Dr. Michael Nēmec is a General Dentist at Port Hawkesbury Dental Group in Hawkesbury
Dr. Michael Nēmec has been practicing dentistry for over 48 years. He began his professional education at Charles University, in Prague, Czech Republic-his country of birth.
In 1969, he arrived in Canada to complete his studies at Acadia University, Bachelor of Science Degree (Dean’s List), and Dalhousie University, with degree in Dentistry.
Besides General Dentistry, he focuses on Temporo-mandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ) and Temporo-mandibular Pain Dysfunction Syndrome (TMD) treatment modalities, DAMON orthodontics, advanced soft tissue/hard tissue laser dentistry and Neuro-muscular concepts of dental therapies. He is a certified doctor by International Laser Institute and, now, has completed his education, and is a certified professional, in BIOCLEAR modality in dental/oral rejuvenation, a new treatment protocol that is taking the dental profession by a storm and has become Dr. Nēmec’s passion. Additionally, Dr. Nēmec completed numerous educational programs at the Las Vegas Institute.
He is conducting proven treatments that strive for the best results, relying on leading-edge technology, and always keeping current with the highest standards in professional skills. Dr. Nēmec strongly believes in patient education and informed participation in treatment planning as this approach results in better outcomes for both parties. Aside of that he believes in honest and compassionate relationships with his patients.
Besides his love for the dental profession, Dr. Nēmec is a road biking enthusiast who also enjoys camping, kayaking, canoeing, gardening, with self-reliance in mind, and traveling . He keeps an open mind to new ideas, experiences and new passions in his life.
